Aim

With this qualification, you can develop and manage audit programmes, plan and conduct internal audits as well as evaluate and report audit findings. You will learn interview techniques that you can apply in audits in a targeted manner.

Content

Module III: Measuring, Evaluating and Improving
You will improve your knowledge of statistics in order to analyse and evaluate results based on substantiated facts. You will get to know common statistical methods and learn to be able to estimate their application possibilities.
Ways in which processes can be oriented and assessed in terms of effectiveness and efficiency will be demonstrated here. Furthermore, this qualification enables you to make decisions based on statistical data.

Module IV: Auditor in the Automotive Industry
In this module, we teach the basics for ISO 9001 and the ISO 19011 requirements as well as the procedures for planning and conducting internal audits with the process approach. You will learn to plan and conduct management systems with the automotive-specific approach and to evaluate the results appropriately using the PDCA approach. We teach you interview techniques that you can use to motivate interview partners.

Examination Day for VDA Quality Manager and Internal Auditor
The exam for VDA quality manager and internal auditor is divided into two parts: a written exam and an oral exam. After passing the written and oral tests, you will receive a VDA certificate, a VDA QM representative card and VDA QMC database entry. For the card, we need a digital passport photograph in JPEG format in advance

Prerequisites for participation

Technical and/or business management training, experience in the automotive industry, personal characteristics according to ISO 19011 (clause 7.2), completion of modules I and II in the basic training for VDA quality manager and internal auditor and/or of the one-week training “Qualification for VDA QM Representative”.
