Auditors have to prove themselves every day in practice. Changes in the standards underlying the audits and in management must be quickly comprehended in order to take them into account in everyday work. For this reason, every three years a re-qualification for 1st/2nd party auditors is necessary to maintain auditor qualification (ISO/TS or IATF 16949 certificates).

The competence of 1st/2nd party auditors is significant for the implementation of the automotive requirements of IATF 16949. For the alignment and assessment of one’s own QM system as well as along the supply chain, the auditors’ competence plays a decisive role.

This re-qualification serves as an exchange of experiences and to update knowledge and capabilities of the auditors according to the current standards. The emphasis is on topical issues and updates in IATF 16949 and the certification rules, as well as typical areas in implementation that still often have potential for improvement. Group exercises and subsequent discussions with all participants serve to consolidate IATF 16949 implementation expertise. The dialogue with colleagues from different organisations creates synergy effects.

Prerequisites for participation

VDA certificate 1st/2nd party auditor ISO/TS 16949 as well as respective evidence for conducted audits.

Admittance to this training will be granted after successful review of your application.

In individual cases, participation in the examination day may be necessary.

NEW: ISO/TS 16949 1st/2nd party auditors, who were qualified by other training organisations, may also apply for a VDA certificate!

Qualification Certificate

After passing the written and the oral exam you will receive a VDA certificate with registered numbering, the respective auditor card as well as a corresponding VDA QMC database entry. For the card we need a jpeg digital photo in advance.
